Reserve/Guard tryouts

I was wondering if anyone here knows if the reserve or guard units are still hosting tryouts? last I heard the reserve and guard units were slowing their roll on the hiring process from people trying to attend tryouts due to the career fields having plenty of qualified PJs/CCTs switching to those units.

That's the last I heard too. Historically, already qualified personnel holding the AFSC separating from the active duty force has been the primary source of new personnel too.

Correct; last year there was wide spread overages.
Each unit is different though, you'll have to call and ask about current status.
